Abstract

Social media platforms have become integral parts of the modern digital landscape, enabling communication, information sharing, and online interactions on a global scale. However, along with their widespread adoption, concerns regarding security, privacy, and potential risks have emerged. This research aims to identify privacy issues of social media platforms, assess potential risks associated with their usage and evaluate the security measures implemented by the platforms against cyberattacks. The study employs a comprehensive analysis of existing literature to examine the security measures employed by social media platforms.
