MIND MANAGEMENT FOR PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCED COMPETITIVENESS OF ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
Mind management for productivity improvement and enhanced competitiveness of organizations was discussed to unveil the potential of orderly organizational activities of the mind in promoting productivity and competitiveness of organizations. It was observed that mind management stimulates value creations activities such as creativity, innovation, brainstorming and many other productivity and competitiveness enhancers. Mind management was observed to be the determinant of the right way to mix available resources to create more values. In mind management, the mind of individual or employees are framed, by indoctrination, to pursue success by minimizing or disengaging unproductive or distractive activities of the sensual characteristics of the subconscious mind. It entails inclining the mind to think towards developing habits that support change, happiness and success in life. This is done by leveraging abilities, knowledge, and some experiences to handle challenges and to choose the best amongst available options. Some of the ways of getting the mind focused on achieving success is by making employees live with consciousness of the need for improvement in performance. This triggers engagement of the mind to explore new ideas for attainment of the organizational goals through innovation, productivity improvement and enhanced competitiveness in the workplace.
