The journal adopts a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity, quality, and scholarly value of all published articles. Under this system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review procedure, thereby upholding objectivity and impartiality in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its relevance to the journal’s scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and overall scholarly quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors without external review.

Submissions that pass the preliminary assessment are assigned to independent and qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. The reviewers are expected to evaluate the manuscript’s originality, theoretical and methodological rigour, clarity of presentation, significance of findings, and relevance to the field.

Reviewers provide detailed, constructive, and unbiased feedback, along with a clear recommendation to either:

  • Accept the manuscript;
  • Accept with minor revisions;
  • Request major revisions and resubmission; or
  • Reject the manuscript.

Authors are then informed of the editorial decision and provided with the reviewers’ comments. Where revisions are required, authors must submit a revised manuscript with all the reviewers’ and editor’s comments addressed. Revised submissions may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or by new experts, depending on the extent of the revisions.

The final decision on acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the designated Editor, based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the quality of the revisions. Once accepted, manuscripts proceed to copy-editing and production for publication.

The journal is committed to ensuring a timely and efficient review process while maintaining the highest standards of academic publishing ethics. Reviewers are expected to adhere to confidentiality, declare any conflicts of interest, and complete reviews within the specified timeframes.
